Welcome to the website of 2463 Squadron (Currie & Balerno) Air Cadets. Our Cadets enjoy flying, gliding, going on camps, taking part in all kinds of action, adventure, sports and opportunities for overseas travel and making new friends. You could soon be joining them.

Air Training Corps Air Cadets, aged 13 to 18 get the opportunity to participate in a large range of exiting and rewarding activities. They learn to fly, visit Royal Air Force Stations, tour foreign countries (a team have just returned from Vietnam), play sports, learn to shoot, learn the skills needed to lead expeditions, gain Duke of Edinburgh's Awards, learn aviation subjects and apply for flying Scholarships.
The Aims of the Air Training Corps are:
  • To promote and encourage among young people a practical interest in aviation and the Royal Air Force.
  • To provide training which will be useful in the Services and civilian life.
  • To foster the spirit of adventure and develop qualities of leadership and good citizenship
The ATC Motto is:
'Venture Adventure'
